It is not the comedy "My Best Friend Wedding" cast by Julia Roberts. It is my best friend Christopher wed Vivien. I am glad to travel all the way from Ampang to USJ 3, Subang to capture their flawless stylish affair.

I got to know Chris from his previous work place, Honda Service Centre USJ 16, Subang. He is fun, energetic and cheeky at times. However, last Sunday is my first time to meet his beautiful bride, Vivien. She asked me “Are you Allen?” during the time I took her solo portrait shots. Chris must have told her many things about me.

Congratulations Chris & Vivien. I had fun with you guys and thank you to allow me to do photography for both of you.

Greg & Shyamala's Wedding Dinner

What can I say about Greg and Shyamala's utterly amazing wedding at Dewan Puspanita, Dr.Siti Hasmah in Kuala Lumpur yesterday? Well, I can say a few things. It was a simple and elegant affair. Greg and Shyamala kept the guest list to best friends and immediate family only, and not a detail was spared. The day and weather were perfection, the ceremony emotional and beautiful, the portraits relaxed and fun, dinner delicious. It was, in a word, exquisite. Check out the photos above of the wedding:

My nieces Emmelyn & Samantha

My favorite subject is my little niece Samantha. She is crawling around really well now and is just so adorable! She always has a smile on her face, she's just the most adorable happy baby. Check out how the little girl gets around.

Also her elderly fun and talkative sister, Emmelyn. She's just full of energy and wouldn't want to be bored. Check out her set of expression to entertain us at home.

Ball of energy

I got to go up to Puchong, Selangor to shoot with a great kid and her family members. Chloe is a little ball of energy, little girl through and through! One of the things I love about shooting children is their irreverence and lack of false expressions, and these girl was perfect subjects, fun, loving, happiness and cheerful.

I always make sure to shoot photos of each child individually to try to capture their own personality. Look at this gorgeous kid, Chloe.

We spend about an hour around the playground and poolside, and finally enjoying cool down with a cone of ice cream. Little Chloe enjoyed her share too and also she is willing to share with her Elmo.

When it's time for me to say goodbye little Chloe refused to let me go off and she cried, as we had a good time together.

If you're interested in having me shoot your children (in the photography sense of course), shoot me an email to gwsallen@gmail_DOT_com

We loved... Stephen & Agnes ... because He first love us.

Stephen and Agnes's wedding surpassed every expectation I had. 7.00AM the day was simply perfect--the weather was to die for, the bride and groom were incredibly happy and in love, and every guest was relaxed and excited to share the day with the couple. Not to mention the fact that anyone who says a destination wedding can't be a killer party is dead wrong--this one probably went all day!

I started off the day as I usually do, with the girls.

Kelvin & Winnie

It was the big day for Kelvin & Winnie, and it was everything anyone could have expected to be and more. The day started off overcast and a little drizzly, but Kelvin is blessed with the golden touch so it was really no surprise to anyone that just minutes before the ceremony was to take place, the clouds cleared and the sun broke through streaming over the lawn at Sentosa Island in Singapore.

I can't say enough good things about this couple or this wedding. You might think that with official photographers around it would be business talk non-stop, and there is a bit of that, but Kelvin and Winnie have created such an amazing atmosphere here at the hotel that you relax almost the minute you walk through the hall.

If you know Kelvin and Winnie, you know that Kelvin's energy is rambunctious and loud, while Winnie is more quiet and observant, but it's so obvious how well they balance each other out. Their ceremony was one of the most emotional I've ever heard or seen--even me, who never even listens as vows are said, couldn't keep it together when Kelvin first saw Winnie walk down the aisle.

Anyway, I could go on, but I think I'll just share a bunch of photos for now.
